We are able to offer support to transgender victims of hate crimes. A hate crime is when someone targets you because of your identity, and can be very upsetting and traumatising. Hate crimes take many forms, from online harrasment through to physical, verbal, and sexual assault. Sometimes something may happen which includes a hate incident, for example vandalism accompanied by transphobic graffiti.
We offer peer support, one on one support and free short term counselling aimed at coping with the impact of hate crimes. This is possible due to the funding of the office of the Police and Crime Commisioner, Vera Baird.
If you are unsure you have been the victim of a hate crime, or to find out more about the support we offer you can contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 07976344441
